Sidharth Malhotra and Raashi Khanna hold hands at ‘Yodha’ event; creates a stir on social media |

On the one hand, where social media brings Bollywood stars and their fans closer, on the other hand, it keeps the actors under the constant gaze of public perception. An example of the same is a video of Sidharth Malhotra and her ‘Yodha’ co-star Raashi Khanna, which is doing the rounds on the internet.
Amid the ‘Yodha’ promotions, Sid and Raashi stirred the online sphere as they were spotted briefly holding hands during an event in Jaipur. The duo launched the film’s first song, ‘Zindagi Tere Naam,’ with pictures flooding the internet. However, a video capturing the moment Sidharth and Raashi held hands has now gone viral, eliciting unexpected reactions, especially from Kiara Advani‘s fans.

Yodha | Song – Zindagi Tere Naam

The video shows Sidharth and Raashi making their way through the crowd to the music launch venue. Initially, Raashi clung to Sidharth’s arm as they entered, which subtly transitioned into a hand-holding moment. Sidharth, playing the courteous gentleman, maneuvered her behind bodyguards to ease their passage through the approaching crowd. While the gesture might have seemed chivalrous to some, it left a section of social media buzzing with mixed opinions.
Kiara Advani’s fans, in particular, expressed their surprise and discomfort at the sight, deeming it ‘weird’ and questioning the necessity of such public displays between co-stars. One social media user remarked, “Why holding hand nd all publicly?? She is just a co-actor, on-screen is fine but not socially… not cool.”

Contrastingly, some defended Sidharth, dismissing the incident as a harmless display of support. One comment pointed out, “Why does everything have to be a couple thing? Do brothers and sisters not hold hands? He is married? He knows that! People’s reactions are so funny; every movement is watched and criticized.”

While the video continues to get mixed reactions from the netizens, Sidharth and Raashi are busy with their promotions, as ‘Yodha’ is slated to release on 15 March 2024. Directed by
Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, it is an action thriller that promises to keep the audience glued to the edge of their seats.
