Shah Rukh Khan lit up the stage at the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024 opening ceremony on Friday, February 23. The renowned actor mesmerized the audience at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru with his energetic performances, featuring several of his hit songs, captivating everyone and getting them tapping their feet along.

King Khan took the stage and, before his performance, addressed the crowd about the power of ‘Naari Shakti‘ (women empowerment).SRK commended women for breaking stereotypes and wished the WPL teams luck for their upcoming matches. He then welcomed everyone in his signature Pathaan style, saying, “Party agar Pathaan ke ghar rakhoge toh mehmaan nawazi ke liye Pathaan toh aaega hi” (If you keep the party at a Pathaan’s house, then of course, a Pathaan will come for hospitality). The superstar then enthralled the audience with his moves to the tunes of ‘Jhomme Jo Pathaan’ and ‘Not Ramaiya Vastavaiya.’

Earlier today, Shah Rukh Khan had an encounter with the team members of Delhi Capitals (DC) and Mumbai Indians (MI). The actor offered words of motivation and extended his best wishes to them ahead of their opening clash. He was also spotted recreating his trademark pose with Meg Lanning, adding to the excitement of the moment.

Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, numerous other prominent Bollywood celebrities such as Shahid Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan, Kartik Aaryan, and Tiger Shroff are also slated to grace the Women’s Premier League (WPL) opening ceremony and dazzle the stage with their presence.

Before heading off to perform at the WPL, Shah Rukh Khan was also occupied with rehearsals for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding. He traveled to Jamnagar in Gujarat to prepare for the event. According to reports from News18, the Bollywood superstar spent a day in Jamnagar before departing for Mumbai on Thursday, February 22.
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Dunki,’ where he shared the screen with Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal. Upcoming, Shah Rukh Khan is set to appear in ‘Tiger vs Pathaan’ alongside Salman Khan.
